Photo: Man Dies After Collapsing While Crossing Road Holding Prescription for Drugs

A man has died after collapsing while attempting to cross a road in Ondo State.

The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 29, in Owo. Witnesses said the man was crossing toward a pharmacy when he suddenly slumped and became unresponsive.

At the scene, a prescription for drugs and a mobile phone believed to belong to the man were found on him. Passersby reportedly examined the items in an effort to identify him and contact his family.

Images and a video from the scene have since circulated online as members of the public seek information that could help locate his relatives.

Authorities are yet to release an official statement on the incident.
