Peter Obi Media Team Reacts to Trending Presidential Poster of Him and Saraki
The Peter Obi Media Reach (POMR) has dismissed a 2027 presidential campaign poster featuring former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and ex-Senate President Bukola Saraki as unfounded.
In a statement to newsmen, POMR spokesman Yunusa Tanko labeled the poster as purely speculative, saying, “It is a figment of people’s imagination. There are no indications of such a campaign, but we remain committed to working for the benefit of the people.”
The controversial poster depicted Saraki as the presidential candidate with Obi as his running mate, under the slogan, “Let’s restore our country back, come 2027.”
Saraki, a prominent member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Obi, who transitioned from the PDP to the Labour Party (LP) ahead of the 2023 presidential election, have yet to make any official announcements regarding their intentions for the 2027 presidential race.
