PDP Wins In Plateau Election
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Jos North/ Bassa federal Constituency Musa Agah has been declared the winner of Saturday’s by-election by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
Eleven political parties contested the February 26th By-Election to fill the position left by Haruna Maitalla of the APC who died in a motor accident in April, 2021

Declaring the result on Sunday, INEC’s Returning Officer, Yinka Oyerinde said Musa Agah of the PDP polled a total of 40,343 votes to defeat his closet rival Muhammed Gwani of the Peoples Redemption Party, PRP, who got a total of 37, 757 while Abbey Aku of the ruling All Progressives Congress polled 26, 111.
Plateau State resident electoral Commissioner for INEC Halilu Pay, expressed Satisfaction with exercise and said it is Free, fair and Credible.
