PDP Suspends Secretary Over Alleged Anti-Party Activities

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State has suspended its State Secretary, Sa’idu Adamu, over allegations of gross misconduct and anti-party activities.

The decision was announced in a statement signed by the State Publicity Secretary, Maria Dogo, on Monday in Kaduna. According to the statement, the suspension was approved by the State Executive Committee after a meeting held at the party’s secretariat.

Dogo explained that the action was taken in line with Articles 58(1)(h) and 57(3) of the PDP Constitution (2017 as amended). The suspension, which takes immediate effect, will last for one month pending the outcome of further investigations and subsequent decisions by the party.

During this period, Adamu is barred from participating in any party activities at all levels.

“The PDP wishes to assure its members and the general public that the party remains resolutely committed to upholding internal discipline, fairness, and justice under the able leadership of the State Chairman, Hon. Edward Masha,” the statement read.

It further emphasized that the ongoing measures by the State Working Committee are aimed at strengthening party structures and promoting accountability across all levels of leadership.
