PDP moves to unite members ahead of Anambra Governorship polls
The Southeast National Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Ali Odefa, has urged all party members who have cases in court to withdraw them, sheath their swords, and use their resources to develop the party.
Udefa made the call during the party’s stakeholders meeting in Awka ahead of the 2021 Anambra State Governorship election
As political parties continue to strategise in readiness for the Anambra State Governorship election scheduled to hold in November this year, PDP said that efforts are being made to reconcile all aggrieved members for what they described as the unity of purpose.
Speakers at the stakeholders meeting agreed on the need to pull resources in achieving the common interest of the party.
A level playing field for all the aspirants is also seen as key if the party wants to be victorious at the 2021 governorship poll.
