PDP forwards names of nominees to replace Ebonyi Governor and Deputy to INEC

The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Iyorchia Ayu has said that the party has submitted the names of its nominees for Governor and Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State respectively, to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Iyorchia Ayu, made this known at a media briefing on Tuesday, stating that the party had nominated Iduma Igariwe and Fred Udogwu to replace Umahi and Igwe.

You would recall that a federal high court sitting in Abuja had earlier today ordered the removal of Dave Umahi and Eric Kelechi Igwe as Governor of Ebonyi State, and Deputy Governor. ,

The court hinged its decision on their defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
