Party Crisis: PDP Board of Trustees in Closed-Door Meeting with Gov Bala Mohammed
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT), led by Chairman Adolphus Wabara, is currently engaged in a closed-door meeting with Bauchi State Governor and Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, Bala Mohammed. The meeting is taking place at the Bauchi State Government House.
This crucial gathering is aimed at addressing the ongoing internal issues affecting the party at both the national and state levels. Party leaders are expected to discuss strategies for resolving divisions among aggrieved members, with the ultimate goal of uniting the party ahead of the 2027 elections.
The meeting comes just a day after a similar session was held between Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike and the PDP BoT in a bid to address the party’s challenges.
Details of today’s meeting will be provided after the closed-door session, as the officials are expected to brief the press.
