Osun Police debunk arresting #EndSARS protesters
Osun State Police Command has debunked the report that two people were arrested for being administrators of a WhatsApp group used for mobilisation for the End SARS protest in the state.
The report hinted that one Babawale Popoola and Fisayo Aderemi were arrested and have been in detention since Thursday in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, in connection with the End SARS protest.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Yemisi Opalola, said the persons that were arrested were the hoodlums who masterminded the looting of the government and private property during the End SARS protest.
She added that the suspects will soon be prosecuted.
