Ortom’s Convoy attacked by gunmen
The convoy of the Benue State Governor, Samuel Loraer Ortom has been reported to have been attacked by gunmen suspected to be bandits.
The incident was reported to have happened along the Makurdi-Gboko road exactly at Tyo Mu area.
Further reports have it that the Governor was on his way to Makurdi when the gunmen opened fire on his convoy.
The Gunmen were however repelled by the security men on the Governor’s convoy.
