#OndoDecides2024: DSS Arrests Alleged Vote Buyer with Bags of Cash
The Department of State Services (DSS) has arrested an alleged vote buyer caught with two “Ghana Must Go” bags believed to be filled with cash intended for voter inducement during the ongoing election in Ondo State.
The arrest took place at Ward 4, Polling Unit 007, near St. Stephen’s Primary School in Akure. The unidentified man is currently in DSS custody as investigations continue.
A video shared by Channels Television on its X handle on Saturday, November 16, showed DSS officers detaining the suspect and seizing the bags of cash.
