Obi can only be Kwakwanso’s deputy – NNPP Spokesperson
Agbo Major, the spokesperson of the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP, has said that the only option acceptable to NNPP as a party is for Peter Obi to deputize the party’s presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Agbo made this known in an interview on Arise TV.
He was asked why Kwankwaso can’t agree to be Peter Obi’s running mate.
He said the leadership of the NNPP have received several calls from persons who expressed disgust and disapproval of the suggestions that Peter Obi should be flag bearer after the merger plans.
Talks are however still on for a possible merger.
Agbo reiterated that the only thing acceptable to the NNPP is for Obi to be Kwankwaso’s deputy.
