No Ransom Will Be Paid for Abducted Children, Declares President Tinubu
President Bola Tinubu has unequivocally stated that no ransom will be paid for the safe return of the children abducted from Kuriga in Kaduna State. This declaration was made during today’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa Abuja.
Following the meeting, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris, briefed State House Correspondents, confirming President Tinubu’s directive to the defense forces to ensure the safe rescue and return of the abducted children to their families.
President Tinubu reiterated his firm stance against the payment of ransom to kidnappers and emphasized the government’s unwavering determination to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities across the nation. He emphasized that under the current administration, kidnapping, especially mass abduction, will not be tolerated.
