No Missile Impact Near Netanyahu’s Office Despite Iranian Claim
Residents near the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reported no signs of a missile strike yesterday, following an Iranian statement claiming the building had been targeted.
Air raid sirens were triggered around noon in Jerusalem and across several central and southern regions of Israel. Despite the alerts, police and emergency services confirmed there were no reported hits, injuries, damage, or interceptions in the capital.
Local residents said they observed no missile impacts near the prime minister’s office. Journalists on site reported no unusual activity from military, police, or emergency personnel, and traffic in surrounding streets continued without disruption. The building itself appeared intact.
Requests for comment from Netanyahu’s office regarding the Iranian claim were not immediately answered.
Israeli media analysts criticized the Iranian statement. Amit Segal, chief political analyst for Channel 12 News, labeled it “fake news” on Telegram, while Suleiman Maswadeh, chief diplomatic correspondent for the state-owned Kan, noted the claim lacked independent verification.
