Photos: Nigerian Ebonyi State-born Kingsley Ogbuji Promoted to Major in US Army
Kingsley Ogbuji, from Ebonyi State, Nigeria, has been promoted to the rank of Major in the United States Army. Ogbuji shared the joyous news on his Instagram account on Monday, July 1, 2024, expressing his gratitude with the words, “To God be the glory, I am amazed.”
The promotion ceremony was presided over by LGT Bagle, who congratulated Ogbuji and acknowledged his selection and promotion to Major. Bagle stated, “It was an honour for me to preside over your ceremony and I appreciate the opportunity. At this new level, more will be expected of you but you will be prepared. Continue to strive for excellence.”
Kingsley Ogbuji, who holds a Master of Arts degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Oklahoma, is also a dedicated volunteer for UNICEF USA.
