Newly Promoted Officers Decorated at Zone 13 Police Headquarters, Ukpo

The Zone 13 Police Command, Ukpo-Dunukofia, held a colorful and memorable ceremony today to decorate newly promoted officers of the Nigeria Police Force. The promotion, approved by the Police Service Commission (PSC) on the recommendation of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, elevated several Chief Superintendents of Police (CSP) to the esteemed rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).

The ceremony was presided over by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 13, AIG Godwin Ndidi Aghaulor, psc(+), with assistance from the Deputy Commissioner of Zonal CID, DCP Shauibu Sani, psc. Also in attendance were senior officers of the Zonal Management Team and the families of the newly promoted officers.

Among those honored with the prestigious promotion were:

• ACP Prince Ugochukwu Ezejiofor – Officer in Charge, Zonal Special Enquiry Bureau (ZSEB), Zone 13, Ukpo

• ACP Celestine Tochukwu Umeh – Officer in Charge, State Intelligence Department (SID), Anambra State Command

• ACP Judu Nwabugwu Ohaja – Assistant Commissioner, State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Awka

• ACP Elha Clever C. – Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ogui, Enugu Command

• ACP Oshiobugie Jafaru Emoefe – Chief Finance Officer (CFO), Anambra Police Command

In his address, AIG Aghaulor commended the officers for their dedication and urged them to redouble their efforts in upholding the core mandate of the Nigeria Police Force. He emphasized the importance of their new responsibilities in maintaining security and law enforcement.

The newly promoted officers, surrounded by family, friends, and colleagues, expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police, the Force leadership, and the Police Service Commission. They pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them by carrying out their duties with renewed commitment and professionalism.

The ceremony ended on a joyful note, with hearty congratulations and celebrations marking the significant milestone in the officers’ careers.
