Mysterious Manhood Disappearance Sparks Panic in Abuja and Beyond
An eerie wave of panic has swept through Abuja and several other cities across Nigeria following a surge in reported cases of male genital organ disappearances. While fear continues to grip residents, experts have cast doubt on the validity of these claims.
Over the past few months, an alarming increase in the alleged theft of male genital organs has been reported in several states, particularly in the North Central region, including Kogi, Nasarawa, Kaduna, and the nation’s capital, Abuja.
The situation escalated to the point where irate mobs resorted to vigilante justice, resulting in the tragic murder of some individuals accused of being involved in these mysterious disappearances.
Reports suggest that the methods employed by the alleged thieves vary. Some claim that a simple conversation with the perpetrator can lead to the vanishing of one’s manhood, while others attribute it to physical contact, including handshakes.
Authorities, however, have raised doubts about the authenticity of these claims. The Nasarawa State Police Command conducted medical examinations on alleged victims, giving them a clean bill of health and suggesting that there was no factual basis for the allegations.
The police have also cautioned against jungle justice and mob violence, emphasizing the need for a proper investigation into such cases.
In a recent video that circulated online, an alleged manhood thief confessed to his crimes in Nasarawa State, claiming that merely engaging in a conversation with him would lead to the disappearance of one’s manhood. Nevertheless, doubts persist about the authenticity of such confessions, with suggestions that they may have been made under duress.
Experts in the medical field have chimed in, asserting that the allegations lack scientific validity. Dr. Kaleb Ugo, a health expert, explained that it is medically impossible for a man’s organ to vanish without a surgical procedure. He cited conditions such as Peyronie’s disease and erectile dysfunction, which may lead to changes in the appearance of the male organ but not its complete disappearance.
Former federal lawmaker Senator Shehu Sani also expressed concern about the rise in accusations of manhood theft, urging caution and stating, “There is no scientific basis behind such claims. It’s simply magicians at work.”
While the panic and fear persist among residents, a security operative anonymously revealed that many of the alarms raised by alleged victims may be orchestrated to divert attention and facilitate thefts of personal belongings in crowded public places.
The Federal Capital Territory Commissioner of Police, CP Haruna Garba, has issued a warning against the spread of false information regarding alleged organ disappearance, emphasizing the need to maintain public peace and order.
