Mob Assault Suspected Manhood Thief into Unconsciousness in Kogi State
In a startling incident in Lokoja, Kogi State, a man suspected of being a magical manhood thief found himself brutally beaten by an angry mob, leaving him in a coma.
The incident unfolded when the suspect entered a shop located along Dunamis Church Road in Lokoja with the intention of purchasing bread. However, confusion erupted when the shop owner suddenly experienced a shock coursing through his body, prompting him to check his manhood, only to discover that it had vanished without a trace.
Panicked and in distress, the shop owner’s cries for help drew the attention of nearby residents and passersby. Responding swiftly, they apprehended the suspect and administered a severe beating in a fit of rage.
An eyewitness, Michael Nwankwo, recounted that the suspect eventually confessed to the bizarre crime after enduring the relentless assault. Strangely, the suspect expressed joy that the stolen manhood of the shop owner had been miraculously restored.
This incident is not isolated, as similar cases have been reported in Ganaja and Karaworo, both in the state capital. In each instance, the suspected manhood thieves have been subjected to mob justice.
The Police Public Relations Officer, ASP William Aya, confirmed the rising incidents and emphasized that the police are actively monitoring the situations. He cautioned the public against taking matters into their own hands and urged citizens to report such allegations to the police, allowing for a proper investigation to take place. ASP Aya sternly warned that individuals who resort to vigilantism and violence, if apprehended, will face legal prosecution in accordance with the law.
