The incident reportedly occurred when the young man visited Ibrahim’s home near the Corpers’ Lodge on New Iyin Road, Ado Ekiti. The father, displeased with their relationship, allegedly enlisted the help of his siblings to assault the visitor.
The victim sustained severe injuries and later died from excessive bleeding.
