Man Donates Sallah Ram to President Tinubu in Appreciation of Kolmani Oil Licence
Khamis Musa Darazo, a resident of Bauchi State, has donated a ram to President Bola Tinubu as a gesture of appreciation ahead of the upcoming Eid-el-Kabir celebration. The donation follows the recent announcement that President Tinubu has granted all necessary regulatory approvals for the Kolmani Integrated Development Project.
The Kolmani project, a multibillion-dollar oil exploration initiative located between Bauchi and Gombe states, recently received a significant boost with the issuance of critical licences. The development was confirmed by the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri.
Khamis, a known admirer of President Tinubu, told journalists in Bauchi on Friday that the ram donation reflects his family’s enduring respect and admiration for the President. He recalled past acts of support, including sacrificing his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) allowance during Tinubu’s campaign and naming his daughter after the President’s late mother.
He expressed hope that the Kolmani licence would unlock new business opportunities and economic growth across Northern Nigeria. “I am forever grateful to President Tinubu for this opportunity. The Kolmani Oil License will bring more business opportunities to the entire North and Nigeria at large, and I want to show my appreciation in the best way possible. Donating a Sallah ram to the President is my way of saying thank you,” he said.
