“Let Israel Fight Her Own Battles” – Fani-Kayode Warns Trump Against Sparking World War III

Former Nigerian Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has issued a stern warning to former U.S. President Donald Trump, urging him not to escalate the escalating Israel-Iran conflict into a full-scale global war.

Fani-Kayode’s statement comes amid mounting tensions in the Middle East, with Israel launching airstrikes on Iranian nuclear and military facilities, and Iran responding with a barrage of missiles and drones that have struck Israeli cities and military targets.

In a blistering message posted to social media, Fani-Kayode accused Trump of reckless posturing and blindly aligning with neoconservative interests in Washington.

“You are a disaster,” he wrote. “You have betrayed your mission and calling. You are not a true believer but a fake. True believers do not support mass murder, genocide, or oppression of the weak.”

He warned that any U.S.-led assault on Iran—especially an assassination attempt on the country’s Supreme Leader—would set the region on fire and mark the beginning of America’s decline on the global stage.

“Kill the Supreme Leader of Iran if you dare, and after that, if it pleases you, send in your Marines to occupy his country. It will signal the beginning of the end of the American empire,” Fani-Kayode cautioned.

Once an admirer of Trump, the Nigerian politician said he is now disillusioned, citing what he described as the former president’s “Icarus-like hubris.”

“All I see in you is vanity… For once, let Israel fight her own battles,” he concluded.

The U.S. has reaffirmed its alliance with Israel, but Trump’s personal calls for “unrelenting pressure” on Iran have drawn widespread criticism.

International mediators have so far made little progress toward de-escalation, as military strikes continue on both sides, deepening fears of a broader regional conflict.
