Lagos PDP congratulates Governor Duoye Diri

On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Lagos State Chapter, I hereby congratulate the Executive Governor of Bayelsa State, His Excellency, Governor Duoye Diri and the people of Bayelsa State on the judgement of the Appeal Court overturning the nullification of his election.

It is our belief that this is the will of God and a confirmation of the choice of the good people of Bayelsa State.

This we also believe is good for our democracy as it would go a long way in reinforcing the confidence of the people in the judiciary.

It is however, now time for all people of Bayelsa State to rally round and support His Excellency in the bid to move the state to its desired height in consonance with the yearnings of Bayelsians.

Once again we say congratulations and we pray that God would continue to endow you with the Knowledge and Wisdom to direct the affairs of the state.
