Lagos Issues Alert After AMVCA Attendee Tests Positive For Coronavirus
The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has called on attendees at the African Magic viewers’ Choice Award (AMVCA) organized by Multichoice Nigeria on March 14, 2020 at the Eko Hotels in Lagos to self-isolate after an unnamed attendee tested positive for coronavirus.
In a statement issued on Tuesday via his Twitter account, Abayomi urged the attendees to call the state’s helpline if they notice any symptom of the disease.
