Lady reported missing in BRT bus found dead
Miss Oluwabamise Ayanwole, who was reported to have been missing after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit vehicle, has been found dead.
This was made known by one of Oluwabamise’s close relatives.
The close relative said “We are at the morgue. We have confirmed the corpse,”
Reports are rife that her corpse was dropped on Lagos Island by a BRT vehicle and a jeep.
An eyewitness report confirmed that the corpse was seen by the roadside, and Policemen of the Ebute Ero Police Station were duly informed.
It was reported that the corpse was later taken to the Mainland Hospital mortuary.
You would recall that the 22-year old Oluwabamise Ayanwole got missing while returning to Ota for the weekend from Ajah on Saturday, February 26.
She was said to be a Fashion Designer at Chevron Estate and normally goes to Ota every weekend after the week’s work.
She had reportedly boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi from Chevron Bus-Stop in Lekki Ajah at about 7 p.m. before she was declared missing.
The management of the Lagos Bus Rapid Transit in conjunction with the Police in Lagos are searching for the BRT driver in whose bus the 22-year-old lady was allegedly kidnapped.
The Police Spokesperson in Lagos State has however stated that, two suspects have been arrested and are currently helping in the investigation.
