Abba Kyari in Court, co-defendants plead guilty to charges
The Suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari alongside other defendants, Sunday J. Ubia, Bawa James, Simon Agirigba and John Nuhu and two alleged drug traffickers, Chibunna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezewanne were all brought by The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to a Federal High Court in Abuja today.
Sunday J. Ubia, Bawa James, Simon Agirigba and John Nuhu are members of the police Intelligence Response Team (IRT) who work with Abba Kyari while Chibunna Patrick Umeibe and Emeka Alphonsus Ezenwanne, are drug traffickers that were arrested at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu.
The co-defendants pleaded guilty to the charges leveled against them in a charge marked FHC/ABJ/57/2022.
