Justice Department Releases Epstein-Related Documents Involving Trump Allegations

The U.S. Justice Department has released a set of FBI documents containing allegations against President Donald Trump connected to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Released on Thursday, March 5, the records include interviews with a woman who alleged that Trump sexually assaulted her after being introduced to him by Epstein. The disclosures have reignited political controversy, with Democrats raising questions about how the Trump administration managed Epstein-related materials.

The documents detail multiple 2019 FBI interviews with the woman, who said she was assaulted by Epstein and Trump between the ages of 13 and 15. She also reported receiving threatening phone calls over the years, which she believed were linked to Epstein’s associates, aimed at silencing her.

Trump has denied all allegations. The Justice Department has noted that some claims in the documents are “untrue and sensationalist.”

Democrats have accused the Trump administration of attempting to withhold information that could have political consequences. On Wednesday, a House committee voted to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi to testify about the Justice Department’s handling of the documents.
