JUST IN: YPP Rep Defects to APGA
Clara Nnabuife, the member representing Orumba North and Orumba South in the House of Representatives, has officially defected from the Young Progressives Party (YPP) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). Her defection was announced during Thursday’s plenary session, where Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu read her letter of resignation from the YPP. In the letter, Nnabuife cited exclusion from party activities as a key reason for her departure.
Nnabuife’s political journey has seen her return to familiar grounds, as she was previously a member of APGA before joining the YPP. Her return to APGA has been met with a warm reception from party members. The APGA State Chairman welcomed her back, emphasizing the party’s commitment to inclusivity and unity among its members.
