JUST IN: Veteran Nollywood Actor Emmanuel France Dies at 80
Veteran Nollywood actor Emmanuel France has passed away at the age of 80. The cause of his death remains unknown, but heartfelt tributes have poured in across social media, reflecting the deep respect many held for the late actor.
The news of his death was announced by filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe, who shared fond memories of their time working together. Ogedengbe recalled taking France to Tanzania in 2006, where they collaborated on several films, including Cross My Sin, She is My Sister, and The Director.
Originally from Ghana, Emmanuel France was known for his kindness, humility, and vibrant personality. One of his most cherished projects was Ghana Must Go, which he was particularly passionate about.
France’s long-standing career in Nollywood left a lasting impression on both his peers and fans. His death comes just days after the passing of another Nollywood actor, Big Larry, marking a somber moment for the industry.
