JUST IN: Trump Releases Photo of Maduro Boarding U.S. Aircraft After Airstrikes
President Donald Trump on Saturday posted a photograph showing Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in U.S. military custody aboard a U.S. naval vessel.
The image, shared on Trump’s Truth Social account, shows Maduro handcuffed and blindfolded on what Trump identified as the USS Iwo Jima. Trump wrote, “Nicolas Maduro on board the USS Iwo Jima,” adding that the photograph was taken hours after U.S. forces captured the Venezuelan leader.
In the image, Maduro appears to be wearing noise-canceling earmuffs, along with gray Nike-branded sweatpants and a matching jacket. No additional details were provided by the White House regarding the circumstances of the operation or Maduro’s current status.
