JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints New CEOs for Two Federal Agencies
President Bola Tinubu has announced the appointment of Chukwuemeka Woke as the new Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency (NOSDRA). Additionally, Adedeji Ashiru has been appointed as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Ogun-Osun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA).
Chukwuemeka Woke brings a wealth of experience as an engineer and environmental specialist. Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Petrochemical Engineering, he has previously served in the Environmental, Safety, and Operations Departments of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). His political career includes roles such as Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area in Rivers State and Chief of Staff at the Government House in Port Harcourt.
Adedeji Ashiru, with a Doctorate in Engineering from Commonwealth University, UK, has a strong background in leading consortia of blue-chip companies and boasts a distinguished professional record.
President Tinubu expects both executives to leverage their expertise to drive sustainable progress and transparency within their respective agencies.
