JUST IN: Tinubu Appoints Agara as New DG of NDE
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Mr. Silas Agara as the new Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
In an official statement, Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced that the NDE will undergo a comprehensive overhaul aimed at addressing the country’s unemployment challenges.
Mr. Agara, an entrepreneur and sports administrator, previously served as the Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State. The President expressed his confidence in Agara’s ability to lead the NDE, emphasizing the need for effective programs to tackle mass unemployment.
