JUST IN: Soludo Reportedly Dismisses Information Commissioner Nwosu
Anambra State’s Commissioner for Information, Sir Paul Nwosu, has reportedly been relieved of his duties. According to sources cited by Anambra Peoples Blog, Nwosu was allegedly dismissed due to concerns over his performance, particularly his failure to effectively promote Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s profile in the lead-up to the 2025 governorship election.
Although SK Blog has not independently verified this information, it is being reported that Nwosu has already vacated his office. Speaking anonymously, a source close to the matter stated, “As I speak to you, Mr. Paul Nwosu has packed his bag, and we’re just waiting for the news to be announced by the Press Secretary to the governor, Mr. Christian Aburime.”
When reached for comment, Press Secretary Christian Aburime indicated that he had not yet confirmed the news.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that Nwosu’s replacement is currently undergoing the necessary clearance from the State House of Assembly.
