JUST IN: Several Feared Dead in Tragic Accident on Karu Bridge, Abuja
A devastating accident occurred on Karu Bridge in Abuja on Friday, claiming several lives. According to eyewitness reports, the accident was caused by a cement-laden truck that failed to brake while descending the Kugbo hill. The truck collided with multiple vehicles, crushing them and their occupants. After the crash, the driver attempted to flee the scene but was intercepted by commercial motorcyclists near the Karu Roundabout.
This tragic event comes just a month after a similar fatal incident in March, when a Dangote truck powered by CNG lost its brakes on the same bridge, causing a deadly pileup. Authorities have yet to provide further details on the incident, but the community is reeling from another catastrophic event on this notorious stretch of road.
