JUST IN: Reinstated Emir Sanusi Arrives at Kano Government House
The reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II, has arrived at the Kano Government House to officially receive his appointment letter and resume his duties as the sole first-class Emir of the state.
According to news reports, Sanusi arrived in Kano late Thursday evening, and a low-key homecoming reception was organized following security advice.
This development indicates that preparations are complete for the highly anticipated events marking Emir Sanusi’s return to public duties.
Sanusi is scheduled to attend a mini-durbar ceremony at the Africa House in Kano Government House at 10 a.m. Following the ceremony, he will proceed to the Nassarawa Emir’s palace before leading the jumu’at (Friday) prayers at the Kano Central Mosque, located at the palace in Kofar Kudu.
