JUST IN: Professor Kate Omenugha Confirmed as Substantive Vice Chancellor of COOU

Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha has been officially confirmed as the substantive Vice Chancellor of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, by the Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR.

According to a press release signed by Christian Aburime, Press Secretary to the Governor, the appointment was formally conveyed to Professor Omenugha through an official letter presented by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, during a ceremony held at the Light House in Awka.

The confirmation follows Professor Omenugha’s distinguished performance as Acting Vice Chancellor, a period noted for progressive reforms, academic repositioning, and visionary leadership.
