JUST IN: PDP Expels Wike, Fayose, Others Over Anti-Party Activities at Ibadan Convention
The Peoples Democratic Party has approved the expulsion of eleven members at its National Convention in Ibadan after delegates adopted the Fifth Motion addressing what the party described as persistent breaches of its constitution.
Those expelled, as listed in the motion, are Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Ayo Fayose, Senator Samuel Anyanwu, Hon. Umar Bature, Adeyemi Ajibade SAN, Mohammed Abdulrahman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, Hon. Austine Nwachukwu, Abraham Amah, George Turner, and Chief Dan Orbih.
The decision was endorsed by an overwhelming majority of delegates, signaling a clear attempt by the party to reinforce internal discipline and close ranks ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
