JUST IN: Nnamdi Kanu’s Trial Relocated to DSS Headquarters by Judge, Reason Cited

The trial of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been relocated to the headquarters of the Department of State Services (DSS) in Abuja. The decision was made by Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, who ruled that the case be moved from the courtroom to the DSS facility.

Justice Omotosho cited the need for the court to inspect a shipping container allegedly linked to Kanu as the reason for the relocation. Authorities claim the container was used to smuggle a radio transmitter into the country, which was then used to broadcast on Radio Biafra.

Kanu is currently facing terrorism charges stemming from his campaign for the secession and independence of Biafra from Nigeria.
