JUST IN: Nigerian Aircraft Skids Off Runway, Passengers Injured

An aircraft belonging to Nigerian airline ValueJet skidded off the runway at Port Harcourt International Airport, resulting in reported injuries among passengers. The event occurred around 3:30 pm on Tuesday, though specific details remained unclear at the time of this report.

Sources at the scene conveyed that the ValueJet Airline aircraft landed in an emergency manner at Port Harcourt International Airport, leading to injuries, though fortunately, no fatalities were recorded.

This occurrence follows a series of incidents in Nigeria’s aviation sector over the past few weeks. Just days prior, a Boeing 737 Jet owned by Aero Contractors Airlines crash-landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.
