JUST IN: Max Air Flight Crash-Lands at Kano Airport After Tyre Bursts Into Flames
A Max Air flight from Lagos crash-landed at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport on Tuesday night after its nose landing gear tyre burst into flames upon landing. The incident occurred at 10:57 p.m., causing the aircraft to skid to a halt on the runway.
According to a report by Daily Nigerian, one of the passengers described the terrifying moment, stating that immediately after touchdown, the tyre burst and caught fire. Despite the alarming situation, all passengers and crew members emerged safely, and no casualties were reported.
Authorities are expected to investigate the cause of the incident to ensure the safety of future flights.
