JUST IN: Panic as Private Jet Crash-Lands at Kano Airport
A private jet operated by Flybird crash-landed on Sunday at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport in Kano after arriving from Abuja.
The incident occurred during the aircraft’s landing attempt at the Kano airport. Daily Trust quoted a source at the airport as saying that all passengers and crew members onboard escaped unhurt.
The source said details surrounding the crash-landing were still limited, adding that only aviation authorities in Lagos and the headquarters of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) could provide further information.
As of the time of filing this report, no official statement had been issued on the cause of the incident or the extent of damage to the aircraft.
