JUST IN: Top Lagos PDP Leaders Renounce Party, Defect to APC
Key figures of the Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have officially defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The announcement was made moments ago by Hakeem Amode, the former Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Lagos, who confirmed that he and other notable party leaders have renounced their membership of the opposition party and pledged allegiance to the ruling APC.
The defection comes amid growing internal divisions within the Lagos PDP, which has struggled to maintain a unified front in recent years.
