The record-breaking dish weighed 8,780 kilogrammes (19,356 lb 9 oz) and was confirmed on Monday by Guinness World Records.

The achievement took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island, Lagos, in partnership with food brand Gino.
