JUST IN: Former Edo Governor Obaseki Begins Medical Vacation After Tenure Completion
Former Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has embarked on a vacation to rest and undergo comprehensive medical evaluations following the end of his two-term tenure. The announcement was made Wednesday by his media adviser, Crusoe Osagie, though no details were provided on the location of Obaseki’s medical retreat.
Obaseki concluded his eight-year administration on November 11, passing the baton to the newly inaugurated governor, Monday Okpebholo. Reflecting on his years of public service, Obaseki conveyed his gratitude, expressing thanks to God and the people of Edo State and Nigeria for the trust placed in him.
In his message, he also urged the people of Edo, both locally and in the diaspora, to remain hopeful and continue their prayers for the state’s peace, progress, and prosperity.
