JUST IN: Former Aide to Governor Uzodimma, Chinasa Nwaneri, Arrested in Imo
Nze Chinasa Nwaneri, former Special Adviser to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Special Duties, has been apprehended by a special team of police detectives in Imo State. Nwaneri, a longtime confidant of Governor Uzodimma, was arrested at the RockView Hotel in Owerri on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses reported that following his arrest, Nwaneri was escorted to his hotel room, which was thoroughly searched before he was taken to the State Police Command headquarters. Details surrounding his arrest remain unclear, and the authorities have yet to disclose the charges against him.
Nwaneri, who has been with Governor Uzodimma for years, was known for his influential role within the administration. His sudden detention has raised many questions and speculations among political observers and the public.
