An early morning fire has engulfed the Red Chamber of the Katsina Government House. The affected chamber, which is situated adjacent to the governor’s office, is where key meetings with important personalities are typically held.
As of now, details about the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage remain unclear. However, it has been confirmed that Governor Dikko Umaru Radda was not on the premises at the time. The governor was reportedly in Funtua, attending a zonal town hall meeting to discuss the needs and aspirations of the local population.
