JUST IN: State Finance Commissioner Found Dead in his Room
Ahmed Ali Ahmed, the Commissioner for Finance in Borno State, has been confirmed dead. The Borno State Government announced the news on Monday, August 26.
Reports indicate that Ahmed was discovered deceased after authorities forcibly opened his door. The cause of death is yet to be disclosed.
Usman Tar, the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, confirmed Ahmed’s death in a statement this morning. The burial is set for 5 p.m. today at his family residence on Damboa Road, behind the Indimi residence in Maiduguri.
