JUST IN: Donald Trump Reveals Details of Butler Rally Shooting Incident
Former President Donald Trump has broken his silence regarding the recent shooting incident at his campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. In a statement, Trump disclosed that a bullet pierced the upper part of his right ear while he was speaking on stage.
Law enforcement officials are investigating the shooting as an attempted assassination. Trump, in a post on his Truth Social platform, recounted the harrowing moment. “I knew immediately that something was wrong when I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and felt the bullet ripping through the skin. There was much bleeding, and I realized what was happening,” he said.
He expressed gratitude towards the United States Secret Service and other law enforcement agencies for their swift response. “I want to thank The United States Secret Service and all of law enforcement for their rapid response,” Trump stated.
Trump also extended his condolences to the victims of the incident. “Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured. It is incredible that such an act can take place in our country.”
Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., provided an update on his father’s condition. “I spoke to my father on the phone, and he is in great spirits. He will never stop fighting to save America, no matter what the radical left throws at him,” Trump Jr. said in a statement.
