JUST IN: DHQ Confirms 36 Soldiers Died In Niger Ambush
In a somber update, the Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has confirmed a devastating loss of 36 soldiers in Niger State. The heartbreaking revelation was made by Director of Defence Media Operations, Major General Edward Buba, during a recent biweekly briefing. The casualties were a result of a harrowing ambush on troops in Niger State, as well as a tragic incident involving an evacuation helicopter that crashed on August 14, 2023.
