JUST IN: Court Upholds Order Allowing PDP to Hold National Convention in Ibadan
The Oyo State High Court in Ibadan has upheld its earlier order allowing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to proceed with its National Convention scheduled for Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025.
At the resumed hearing on Monday, November 10, Justice A.L. Akintola reaffirmed the directive that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) must attend and monitor the convention as part of its statutory responsibilities, pending the hearing and determination of the Motion on Notice.
The court also maintained its order to the PDP’s National Working Committee, National Executive Committee, and the National Convention Organizing Committee to ensure the convention holds as planned.
