JUST IN: Bala Mohammed Dumps PDP, Moves to APM
Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi State, has announced his defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the Allied Peoples Movement (APM).
The announcement was made on Saturday at the Government House in Bauchi. Mohammed appeared alongside APM National Chairman Yusuf Dantalle during the declaration.
According to details from the event, the defection followed a closed-door meeting involving key stakeholders. Members of the PDP aligned with the faction led by Tanimu Turaki also joined the move.
Mohammed previously served as chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum prior to his exit from the party.
