JUST IN: APC Guber Aspirant Paul Chukwuma Resigns from Party Ahead of Primary
Frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant in Anambra State, Sir Paul Chukwuma, has resigned from the party just a day before its primary election.
Chukwuma, in a resignation letter addressed to the APC Ward Chairman of Umueri Ward 2, Anambra East Local Government Area, cited concerns over the party’s internal process as the reason for his exit. He described the ongoing process as “heavily flawed” and emphasized his commitment to building a broader political movement in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
While expressing gratitude for the party’s leadership over the years, Chukwuma assured that he remains dedicated to the progressive ideals he shares with his supporters. His sudden resignation raises fresh concerns about the credibility of the APC primary, scheduled for tomorrow.
